Comparing Caravans

Here is a spreadsheet I have devised to TRY to compare different caravans and come up with some quantitative measure of value. Whilst it does give some objective measures it is still VERY subjective.
We have not yet purchased a van and therefore have not used this process ourselves. It represents our current thinking on how we MIGHT go about it.
I know that sounds airy fairy (and it is), but I don't want people thinking that there is hard science behind it. Use it as you will, but no responsibility is taken for any decisions you might base upon it.
The final selection can only be made by YOU!
Make sure you know what you want. Research is VITAL!!!!!
Only compare vans that will probably meet your needs/wants
Most of the information you can get from the Internet, but nothing beats seeing the product in the flesh. Taking the spreadsheet with you to the manufacturer will show:
- You are serious, and
- You are prepared to shop around.
- Makes them take you seriously.
